Preparing to Enter the Teacher Workforce
Provides pre-service teachers with tips and tools for developing a positive and complete professional image, in order to stand out as a top job candidate. Participants will engage in resume’ analysis and writing, role play, as well as whole and small peer group discussions. Additionally, participants will receive pointers on creating lasting impressions, knowing what recruiters want, creating professional portfolios, and understanding teacher education programs and licensure requirements in Virginia.
